How do I refer a friend?
There are 2 ways you can Refer a Friend.
- You can log into your account at MyXplornet.com and click on the Refer-a-Friend banner on the main page.
- If you signed up for Internet service but it hasn’t been installed yet, you can ask your Dealer or Xplornet to refer a friend on your behalf.
My service hasn’t been installed yet. Can I still refer a friend?
If you’d like to refer a friend prior to your installation, please ask your dealer or Xplornet to refer a friend on your behalf.
If you prefer to wait until after your installation, you can refer a friend by logging into your account on MyXplornet.com. Instructions for setting up your login for MyXplornet.com are emailed to the email address you provided when you signed up for your Internet service. If you know your username but have forgotten your password, you can request a new password on the MyXplornet.com login page. Otherwise, please call Customer Care at 1-844-824-5915 for assistance.

If I refer a friend, when will I see the referral credit on my account?
You will see the credit after 30 days of your friend’s installation date. The reason that we process the credit 30 days after installation is that we offer a 30-day customer satisfaction guarantee. Once your friend’s customer status is active for more than 30 days, Xplornet will process the credit on your account. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing.
Is there a limit to the number of friends I can refer?
No! You can refer as many friends as you like, as long as they aren’t employees of Xplornet, installers or dealers of Xplornet services, or family members of any Xplornet employees, installers or dealers of Xplornet services.
I referred a friend but I did not receive a credit on my account. Why is that?
To be eligible for the credit, the following requirements apply:
- Customers cannot refer themselves.
- You must provide the referral’s name, address and telephone number to Xplornet or your Xplornet dealer prior to the referred person’s initial contact with Xplornet and/or their dealer to request to sign up as an Xplornet customer.
- Dealers can submit the Refer-a-Friend through the Dealer Portal on behalf of a new or existing customer.
- Your referral’s Xplornet service must be active within 30 days of your referral submission. If the account is activated after 30 days, the customer will not be eligible for the referral credit.
- The new account must be active for more than 30 days before the credit can be applied.
- Credit processing time is 6-8 weeks after the 30 day activation period has passed.
- Referring customer must have a valid recurring. payment method on file.
- Referring customer must be active and in good standing. Credits will not be applied to accounts that are suspended or cancelled.
- Offer not available to employees of Xplornet Communications Inc., installers or dealers of Xplornet services, or the family members of any Marketing & Sales employees, installers or dealers of Xplornet services.
- The Refer-a-Friend credit amount is $50 per referral.
- Your referral must not be an existing Xplornet customer.
