Fibre Internet Now Available To Even More Islanders

In April, we shared that Xplore was bringing gigabit speeds on a next-generation fibre network to homes and businesses in Vernon Bridge and surrounding communities in Prince Edward Island.

Today, we’re excited to share that an additional 193 homes and businesses in the following PEI communities can now surf and stream with unlimited data on Xplore’s Fibre Internet plans:

Our teams are hard at work on a multi-year network expansion project that will connect over 20,000 Islanders to faster Internet speeds.

We’re installing over 600 kilometres of fibre across Prince Edward Island. Over one third of this fibre is already deployed!

In addition to expanding our fibre network, Xplore is also connecting Islanders to download speeds up to 100 Mbps and upload speeds up to 10 Mbps. Homes and businesses will be able to surf, stream and game on multiple devices at the same time – a must for today’s ultra-connected users!
