February 10, 2017
WOODSTOCK, NB – Xplornet Communications Inc., Canada’s leading rural broadband service provider, is proud to announce that it has been named as one of the Best Employers in Canada by Forbes.
Forbes, in collaboration with online statistics provider Statista, surveyed 8,000 employees in Canada. Employees who were surveyed were consulted anonymously and asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own companies on a scale of 1 to 10. The survey identifies Canada’s top 300 employers across 25 industries.
Xplornet was ranked as the best company to work for in Canada’s telecommunications sector, and the 25th best employer in Canada overall.
“We are extremely proud of this honour – not only to be recognized as one of Canada’s Best Employers but as the top rated telecommunications company in the country,” said Allison Lenehan, President and CEO of Xplornet. “At Xplornet, our employees are, by far, our greatest asset. I want to thank the Xplornet family of over 800 employees across Canada who make our company a truly great place to work.”
In addition to the Forbes ranking, Xplornet has been nationally recognized in four of the last five years as a Top Employer in Atlantic Canada, and has been named a Canadian Telecom Employer of Choice for three years in a row.
