I received an email from Xplornet asking for my password. What
should I do?
Do not reply to this email! This email is not from Xplornet and
we will never ask you for your password through email. This type of
email is called spoofing or password phishing. Such fraudulent
practices involve messages that appear to be from a legitimate
source (like Xplornet) or the creation of an official-looking
webpage that asks you to provide your username and password or
other personal information. Xplornet recommends that you do not
respond to these types of requests
If you ever receive an email in your inbox from someone asking
you for personal information such as your password, social
insurance number, birthday, etc., select the box beside the email
and click the Report Spam button. This will help block this sender
from sending messages to you or any other Xplornet user in the
future.
